O Christmas Tree!

I love the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree. I could skip the whole picking out the tree thing, since I am not a big fan of the cold....or keeping my baby warm from the cold. This year we did our tree in 2 parts. We went and got our tree on a Friday night and then had to wait to decorate it until the morning.

Levi was so strong holding up the tree! Isaac fell in love with the tree right away! He was actually really good about just looking. He did like pulling the ornaments that he could reach, but never opened any presents. After the tree was in the house we hung around just smelling the tree and being together as a family. It was good fun.

Then for some reason we started showing the kids how to go crossed eyes (look at your nose). Levi was pretty good at it.Ruby was hilarious. I laughed so hard I was crying and asked her to show me a lot for the next few days. This is what happens when you say, "Ruby, look at your nose."

NEW MOON!!

I love when movies come out. Meghan, Ashley, and I went to the midnight showing of New Moon. You may recall from last year that we made matching shirts when we went to the midnight showing of Twilight. So this year, we made New Moon sweatpants.

We left at about 10 and were prepared to wait inside the theater for a few hours. Due to the huge turnout at the theater (10 midnight showings sold out) they had us all in a line outside! It wrapped clear around the building. So, there we were....freezing cold! So I took a trip to my can and to Ashley's car and found....2 blankets, a winter coat, a hat, and gloves on top of the coats that we were wearing, and the hat and gloves Ashley had. So we survived until they let us in around 11.

The movie was fine. Better than the first one. For us Twilight junkies it was a great night out. Since then, I took Noah to see it, and must say that I liked it a lot better the second time.

Cute Kids!

My sister Marie took these pics of my kids in December when she was out to visit. These are my favorites. Super cute!

Isaac (7 months) is scooting around (hasn't figures out the hands and knees thing yet!) He chooses not to sit on his own. I am sure that he could if he tried, but he would rather be on his stomach so he can move. He has started eating baby food, although he goes through stages when he won't eat anything at all.

Ruby (2 years & 2 months) is our little princess, and she knows it. She is into everything girlie....necklaces, braclets, purses., and playing dress up. She is also our little artist and can keep herself entertained with a paper and pen for a long time. She is just getting into cartoons like her brother. Dora is her favorite. She wishes that she could go to school with her brother. I cannot believe how big she has gotten and how mature she is.

Levi is 4 1/2 and can't wait for his birthday so that he can turn 5! He does preschool with 10 other kids that go to our church and loves it. The are learning so much all the time. He catches on quickly and is good at memorizing. He has been working on his articles of faith and just said #3 all by himself last night. He is also our techno junkie. His 2 favorite things to do are play on the Nintendo and play computer games. He is a little heartbreaker. He has develped his first little crush, it is so cute!

GOBBLE GOBBLE!

Thanksgiving came and went quickly at our house. We had a great dinner with Noah's parents, Aunt Meghan, Uncle Fizz and Mandy, and Great-Grandpa Neal. We ate turkey and played our traditional game of BINGO, complete with prizes and had a great time together as a family.
This year, for the first time since Levi was a baby we left the kids asleep at home (well, we took Isaac) and went out for black friday!!! It was so much fun. We hit 2 Walmarts, JC Penney, and Toys 'r Us and got home before the kids even woke up. It was fun to do something crazy together. And it was sucessful.
These are pictures of the kids with the turkey hats that my friend Carrie and I made with the preschool kids. They were pretty cute and perfect for the turkey day!!

WICKED WAS AWESOME!!!

Noah and I don't go out alone very much because the time he has free from school and homework we like to spend with the kids. In November Noah and I went together to see it. Noah loved it! I have to say that I even liked it better the second time.

I LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE!!

This year for the stake primary activity (all the children in our congregation between 3 and 12) went to the LDS Temple that is about 20 minutes from our house. They talked to the kids about when the temple was built all the children saved their pennies to buy benches that were put on the grounds of the temple.

They also talked about the designs that are on the outside of the temple rest on each other, because to return to our Heavenly Father we must learn line upon line and precept on precept. Levi has a great time.
