Hello Everyone!!!!I know that we just published a blog a week ago, but we had an exciting week that Ruby wanted to tell everyone about! On this past Sunday, December 2, 2007 Ruby was blessed at our church (see the pictures below). It was a beautiful blessing. She was told in her blessing that she had been named after great women from our family and that she would be able to be a good example like they were. She was also told that her missionary work had already begun and that she would have sucess in her missionary endeavors throughout her life. She was also blessed that as she kept the word of wisdom that her body would be free from the afflictions of this earth. She was blessed with the knowledge that she is a daughter of god and that she will be able to make big and small decision with an eternal perspeective. And finally she was blessed that her mind would be open to truth and knowledge and that learning would be one of her greatest strengths. It was such a beautiful blessing, we wish that you all could have been there to celebrate with us.
The closing of our house is scheduled for this coming Monday, the 10th!!! Everything looks like it is really going to happen and then by next weekend I will have it all clean and ready to move in. I will try and attach a picture of it, to see if it works. It is a cute little house with a fenced backyard in a really safe neighborhood. It has 3 bedrooms and an unfinished basement, so it is somewhere that our family can grow. Please come visit us anytime!!
