Blessing

Hello Everyone!!!!

I know that we just published a blog a week ago, but we had an exciting week that Ruby wanted to tell everyone about! On this past Sunday, December 2, 2007 Ruby was blessed at our church (see the pictures below). It was a beautiful blessing. She was told in her blessing that she had been named after great women from our family and that she would be able to be a good example like they were. She was also told that her missionary work had already begun and that she would have sucess in her missionary endeavors throughout her life. She was also blessed that as she kept the word of wisdom that her body would be free from the afflictions of this earth. She was blessed with the knowledge that she is a daughter of god and that she will be able to make big and small decision with an eternal perspeective. And finally she was blessed that her mind would be open to truth and knowledge and that learning would be one of her greatest strengths. It was such a beautiful blessing, we wish that you all could have been there to celebrate with us.



The closing of our house is scheduled for this coming Monday, the 10th!!! Everything looks like it is really going to happen and then by next weekend I will have it all clean and ready to move in. I will try and attach a picture of it, to see if it works. It is a cute little house with a fenced backyard in a really safe neighborhood. It has 3 bedrooms and an unfinished basement, so it is somewhere that our family can grow. Please come visit us anytime!!

Our first house!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Well our family has so much to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving. Our little Ruby will be 6 weeks old the day before Thanksgiving. She is such a blessing in our lives. Mom is thankful that Ruby consistently only wakes up twice to eat at night. And we are all Thankful for all the visitors that have come to see her.

We are also grateful that Noah has found a permanent job that is related to his degree. He is working for the City and County of Denver in the planning department as a city inspector. So far he enjoys it. He is also continuing to work at Deseret Book part-time.

We should be in our own place before too long and welcome anyone that wants to come and see our new home. We found a home that we love and are putting an offer on it, so keep your fingers crossed.

Update from Colorado!

Hello!

For those of you who haven't heard, we FINALLY had our ultrasound this week and found out that we are having a....................................GIRL!!!! I am so excited, so is Noah. We have a name all picked out, but are not revealing until she is born around October 18th. Here are some pictures of her! The first one is just her head (profile) and the second one is her head and body.

Also many of you back in Utah have requested to see a picture of my belly. I am out all my normal pants, and most of my shirts, but still don't look that pregnant! She moves all the time!!
